Re: oh no not again ... Amanco chore boy
Hope your not taking the micky out of my welding lol I can melt metal with the best of them
matt
you need to turn the welder on again and put some weld on the joints ,it looks like youve only tacked them together with pidgeon poo
good welding and plenty of amps cutting in the joint quality job, few more amps and it will be trying to plazmer cut through:lol: cracking weld there only joking matt ,take it you`ve done a fare amount of welding as thats not looking like the usually diy grade there ,thats what i call the sun tan brigade grade

Re: oh no not again ... Amanco chore boy
Decided to make a trolley from scratch as the timbers was too short , but made it from softwood as a temporary measure and will replace with hardwood when i get some .
feet made but not in right position as have to cut and weld handle mounting brackets to the feet yet and drill holes
this is where the handles will be but you wont see that bar from the feet .

Re: oh no not again ... Amanco chore boy
It be fine , with the design im making they all seemed low unless you had bolsters that bolted under like Abes , but then he has got much bigger wheels too . When its being moved it be picked up anyway so no trouble with moving about .

I don't know, I'm not that keen on them but if you like them then that's great as it's your engine!

there plenty of american engines that got same style handles , round bar that has been waisted for your hands to sit to hold onto otherwise your hands could slip off !
