Sorry to spoil it Matt Embarassed bit of good guess work Very Happy

Looks very nice from what I can make out Cool lol! lol! lol! Matt I get my wife to help unload the engines, she would rather help then see me do any more damage to my back, when I brought the Lister J home i used rachet straps to lower it out of the van not the best way Laughing Laughing

not for a while yet stu , as i am still doing the Fowler and getting ready for show season still , but i have a feeling that i will start by getting the trolley built for it 1st and get it on so more easy to move about , it might get a outing this year perhaps for dorset .

But the fowler will have a stop position while i wait for the cam bearings to be made and the big end made and a guvnor push pin too .
Oh and of course that other engine . but one these are all here i think i have enough engine for the moment lol

What you mean the wood falling out ?

Thats your fault mike where the strap was over the wood on way back when it moved around it fell apart was soft as fook , oh and when i lifted using a bit of 3 x 2 under it caved in a tad lol

. I will have the new trolley built in no time once i get the other wheels and make some measurement for the steel work .

Mike you'll get things sorted, you just done a load of work so you need to slow down for a week or so before you start with engines or you'll just end up laid up in bed.

best way is to pace yourself mike . we dont want you getting seriously ill .

Im off to get some more engines tomorrow , and get to test the winch out Smile

I have a fealing that i might have to have a crank up of a few engines tomorrow afternoon if the sun is out , The Lister a 2 rustons .

Oh and for you lads i have started some work on the trolley for the IH m .

Sanded wood all back as the wood had mould on it so took it back as best i can with some course working down to fine . ( like a babys bottom) Decided to go down the yacht varnish route , seems to be a very hard wearing varnish and a nice finish after .

I will get some pictures tomorrow of that , i was trying to find the square head coach screws but could not find them locally so i have to settle with normal hex head ones , they are made from stainless with stainless washers so will not have to worry about them rusting .

Matt I take it it's not the IH trolley you've sanded down! are you talking about the hardwood you've got from Mike? Better clear this up Laughing Laughing

You gonna do a video for us or has your camera not got it.

The place near me sells the hex headed coach bolts if you need some.

Yes the new ash from mike lol . Nothing like a nice bit of hard wood ! Laughing Laughing

Regarding the coach screw i have got some stu but there hex head rather than square ones ... Least they are stainless steel so will not rust . I will get some pictures one all bolted together , i have put the 2nd coat of varnish on one side , im waiting for it to dry and can put the 2nd coat on the other side . Hopefully another 2 coats permitting i have enough varnish , only ordered 250ml thinking would be enough . next time i will order 500ml Embarassed

The varnish is made by rustins and is a yacht varnish , looks the tits .
