some more engines ariving ...
As some of you may know i will be getting 2 more engines .
1 i am picking up tomorrow then the other in the not so distant future .
Both are horizontal engines .
Thats all im saying for now .

Horizontal 3 horses huh? You're certainly not giving much away
Could be anything from A for Amanco to Z [FB model Z that is] hehe!

Great stuff Matt - good luck with both of them.
I would love a small 1.5 or 2hp little american open crank but I shudder to think of the kind of prices these things will go for nowadays. I could have got an Amanco way back when I had the old engines for about £300. Probably a bit more now LOL. I always likes the Fairbanks Morse little Model Z. Reasonable price and seems to be a few for sale in the states. Wish I lived over there! Bit different price here I'm sure.

For a amanco hired man you could get one for around £500 ish but you do see some people asking over 1 k for one and thats just stupid .
fb morse z is a nice little engine , a headless one is what you want like jonsey has .

Hmm Horizontal and british with a younger brother? 3hp Ruston PB and a 1.5hp...? ) 1930s Bradford enclosed cranks? Crossley? Wild guessing now LOL.

Still in the back on the van , its bloody heavy trying to get it onto that trolley by yourself ! I will be putting on a trolley asap , Unwrapped the wood mike and where been in storage has some mold on it but that will sand down . What wood is it ...? looks like american oak to me . not english oak .

blurry its fooking dark when took them , someone to help me .... no chance with that , i can ask my dad but he would have to drive over to help and same for brother but i have a plan tomorrow how to get it out ... I have the chain block and tackle .... fix that to a deck ring and winch it down the ramps

Il be fine mike im younger and fitter than you if i hurt myself i will be ok , if was you you might not be so lucky mate .
i do need a new camera . I know one thing ... it be staying in the paint its in just a degrease and a oil .

Thanks kev , the photos was taken using a phone so that might explain it all . im in no rush to get the engine up and running and got more important things to do with my 1st rally in may .
