Anzani Marine engine

A project I finished last summer, Its from around 1953, a pretty rare motor, not that I think you would ever see another, it has forward and reverse.

Nice engine, with an interesting design.

Nice - well done.
Hesitate to say it but that carburettor float chamber looks familiar.

Nice outfit and the carb looks very Amal.

Yep All early Anzani's 5hp motors had Amal carbs, then when on to Zenith, a lot of my motors are amal, as most of my stuff is 40's 50's.

I liked the early Amal carbs prior to the monoblocs, i have a couple of Villiers MK 25s these are the high speed models and these run Zenith carbs ,Villiers seemed to run all the high speed 4 stroke engines on Zeniths.

Me two, but some can be buggers to find, I took me ages to find a Amal 124, but I do have a collection of spares now.

Lovely job,in 2011 an Anzani 1000cc V twin engine in bits sold for almost £46,000!Strewth!
