Started new project early
Well was not going to start this project till the end of the year but on holiday this week and could not resist.
Started by stripping everything down then took everything back to bare metal, tank was then primmed and topcoated and all brass work renewed the wheels and axels where given the same treatment, the pump is going to get the blackner treatment (who would have gussed lol) was going to reuse the trolley wood work but a bit on the rotted side so will now make a new base, will also need to make new gaskets and pipework, not bad for two days work lol

Done a bit more today , pump, tank and wheels now all finished, have now made a start on the wood for the trolley using softwood this time as have run out of hardwood for the moment was going to stain it but now thinking of leaving it and just applying a few coats of marine varnish instead, wood just needs drilling and bolting and screwing together pics below

Re: Started new project early
Quick update, spent this afternoon constructing all the pipework took a bit of time as have had very little practice in soldering was going to use the pre soldered right angle joints but in the end decided not too and to just use the plain ones, anyway after cutting all the pipework to size and a quick practice on a spare bit of pipework the construction is now all done, picking up the new flanges this week will put some pics up then
