you have started something now lol
pink lady wants to know, were you get that paint from and what undercoat you used, i love that engine the black flywheel makes it, it reminds me of a certain sweet out of a packet of Bertie Bassets really good job though I admire your work
Re: JONESEYS daughters pink wolseley
Pink Lady everything shoot blasted then 1 coat Red Oxide, 2 coats of Grey Primer and then 2 coats of Pink.
You can get your paint from any car paint dealers. Lucy had 14 different pinks to chose from they mix it for you . 1 Litre tin will cost aprox £ 12.00, It is Enamal . Always tell them what its for they will help.
Any probs PM with your address and I will send you a tin.
Chris [ I am old fashion I like to help a lady out, or it may be I have all females in my house and I do as im told ]

wow
Lovely engine Chris!
I think the gold lettering looks great on that pink. She must be very happy with it.
Being a more feminine shape at the top, it is interesting that the pink seems to suit the Wolseley WDII, it would not suit a Lister D as much.
Nice one.
Cheers

Re: JONESEYS daughters pink wolseley
Just take your time, paint al the parts before you put it together.
Always leave a 2 days between coats of paint.
and on the final coat of pink leave 3 weeks for the paint to harden off.

Re: JONESEYS daughters pink wolseley
Chris. The coloured writing and different font was something I used on another forum. After I was pi**ed of with one of there rules and I found another rule you couldn't use coloured writing so I was waiting to see how many complaints I had about it . But it sort of stuck and I can read post and see if I have replys quicker.

Re: JONESEYS daughters pink wolseley
Mike I don't think Jonesey's putting them on the site either, he sending them to Ryan to post
So if I can help you to post them or if you want to email me your pics I'll post them for you.
Stu.
This is what I wrote in a different thread, so it may help....
Can I have a go at explaining how to add a pic, this is how I do it and find it the easiest way.
under the subject box go along to host an image click on it ..... when the box pops up check the "file" and click "browse " find the image you want to show on your pc... then click on "host it" you then get a box with 3 lines ... copy the bottom line .... then go back to the line of tools under the subject box and click on "image" paste the image url into there .... then click preview at the bottom (next to send) to see your pic.
