Evening,

A photo of some of the engines in forum member Theo's garage.

He is happy to have a chat with anybody who wants to talk engines.

I think Theo told me that this Lister A is a 1926, and he tells me that it the first of 3 engines to come out of the factory in this model. I will try to get some more info on this engine for forum members. It is a rare find.

My friend has a Gardner like that in his Narrowboat. They make very nice boat engines, a really nice sound with the right exhaust setup. His is the usual grey colour though.

Hi Paul,

I will have a chat with Theo and get him to write down the details and dates of his engines, then I will post onto the forum for him.

Still have some stuf to put on for him, but not been able to over the weekend due to work commitments.

Regards

Martin

That petter M is a nice set up, would love one if I had the space and a way to move it, had a chance of one when I lived in Corsham, but couldnt move it about,

Whats the engine between the Gardner and the Amanco? looks a odd thing.

Just seen the base, Hamworth Very Happy very nice machine,

Cheers Steve

Looks like I got the date of Theo's Lister A wrong.

Just seen it says 19-9-23 on it, so its a 1923 and not 1926 as I have stated!!!

Regards

Mart.

martin....
Theo seems to be a very determined man,hes not going to let the fact that hes had his leg amputated slow him down...
hes told me to come down and have a look round and have a chat with him...
its just a pity that the fuel prices are so high,i would love to come down and see him and all of his engines...but who knows mite have to...
its nice to talk to a fella with so much determination to keep going despite his problems....
thanks again for your help in this mater...
