Re: New in garage,
It sure is a handy size. The wood box is original as well, from what I can tell from the Condor engine group on faceache is that this was a spare engine for a generator set. Ex-Italian Army from the WW2 period.

Re: New in garage,
Steve a relation of mine has an Italian friend, so he has asked him to see if any information can be collected by his family who are still in Italy that can be used on an information board at rallies, the engine number is 1/2208 - 42 so am wondering if the 42 defines its manufacture year, am awaiting a reply.

Re: New in garage,
Lovely looking engine. Your getting a multinational collection, British Norman, US Maytag, Italian Concord, going for a Bernard next?

Re: New in garage,
Don't think so Mick, not heard of a Bernard that will be light enough, whats bugging me at the moment is do not know how to get the 2 photos that Steve put on with the Condor being carried and other of engine harness printed off as they will make 2 good photos to put on the info. board when engine is taken to a rally. Well done getting best in show at weekend how about a photo of trophy if you got one.

Re: New in garage,
Air-cooled Bernard from the W10 series - a W110 - would be even lighter; there are a few about in the UK

Re: New in garage,
Eric, I had a Bernard from the W10 series about 10 or so years ago, cannot think which model it was only thing that comes to mind is the push rod tunnels were in a slightly V formation, once I got it to run, mag. was u/s, on batt/coil I moved it on as it was surprisingly heavy for its size. But thank you for the idea.
