LISTER H1 PUMP INFO NEEDED......

HI ALL......

can anyone tell me anything about a special tool for removing the brass washers under the rubber seals......

the seal sits on them,thay have a threaded bolt going up through the middle of them...not the ones that sit on top of the rubber washers....

ive been told that thay unscrew,and as thay are brass you have to be very careful not to damage them.....

the tool has a hole drilled through the middle so that the thread doesnt get damaged,and 4 slots to sit into the brass washer...

can anyone help......

also cant get any washers,the pump guys in Cornwall dont stock them,gland packing not a problem,got that already...

delivered to me the very next day..very quick...well happy with that..

but no luck with the rubber washers...may have to make them myself.....

Ah it must be British made you can not get bits for it

I have some thick neopren type material that I could send up to you, that you can probably make the washers from.

I have just made a new gasket out of some for my H2 pump, which goes under the large hopper / outlet.

If you want some let me know the size and pm me your postal address and I will cut some squares off and post over to you.

I was given a large sheet of this material, so plenty available.
