Click here to veiw one of my better engines https://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r72/benz1890/?action=view&current=Deutz.jpg
It is a 1904 4hp hot tube gas engine. I swapped this for a 1901 3hp Meitz & Weiss hot bulb two stroke, this WAS the only Meitz & Weiss in the country. It took two days to make up my mind about swapping it. Oh yea I forgot to mention that the Deutz was in Switzerland!!! A 1700 mile round trip!!!!
I hope you like it. I do.....it runs so slowly and quietly.
Mike

Thats where all the big engines are! It's good to see them in private ownership not in a museum where they can be run and not put behind a rope for years. Real good collection you have Mike a true labour of love to get them up and running.

There are some around europe, south america and a few imported to usa. Here in England?
It`s a model E3 otto engine, basically the last in the line from the original A series motor (the first ever four stroke produced in 1876).

Great Engines. You certainly need space for them.

The only Ottos I have come across here have been Otto-Crossley engines. I don't know if many or any of the European Ottos made it out here as Crossley were doing big business here.

I just thought I should point out that not all of those pictures are my engines, some are taken in Switzerland and some have sadly moved on for other things.
