hi im a new member so i cant upload any pics yet but i really need help dating my engine please number ive found is 2a.c.12766.cs
ive looked for the chart but can never get the link to work and id really like to know date thanks its on a colwood motor hoe

From the limited info I have, I think C would make it 1948 - others may have better info.
Another thought, check cowling/tank for a small oval with the letters AJH and a year.
