LISTER A 1926 cage valve engine

Hi can anyone tell why my lister a 1926 cage valve engine screeches when running sounds like piston or valves , if you turn it by hand only makes a noise at a certain point .Not sure what it is maybe someone has had the same problem in the past

Where in the cycle does the noisy occur, is the oil level correct and what grade of oil are you using.

Is the piston going up or down and on what stroke ?
