My selection of engines over the last 10 years or so.
I thought I would get the ball rolling with before and after pics, I used to have the restoration threads but they are now long gone,
1st up a Lister D 1952, pulled from a farm stackyard after 30 plus years.
2nd up 1930 Lister A
3rd up Bamfords EV4 1944, pulled from the same farm stackyard after 30 plus years.
4th up Fairbanks Morse Z 1 1/2hp 1922,
Lister 2.5kw start o matic, bought from a croft in Huntly, Aberdeenshire in origional condition.
That was a fair lesson in how to put photos on a forum,
I have another 1 1/2 fairbanks but its in serious need of parts.
I have not had much of a chance these last few years but they are all tucked up in the shed and usually get a run at least once a year.

Thanks Tony, yes a few hours spent and a lot of head scratching, the fun part is getting them going, the storage becomes an issue after that.

Hi Pascal, I used to but its been a few years now, hopefully I will get back into the swing of things again,
here is a couple of pictures taken a while ago, with a local made bruiser (corn mill) and a lister H1 pump and a stuart turner pump.
How you getting on with your lister L, did you manage to make used of the parts I sent you?

Hi all,
Yes Chris, The Lister L with the new piston has been sold, she had an insertion of a shim between the casing and the cylinder, because of the piston which was a little longer than the guenuine piston. I think she was a little more powerfull than before.
Cheers
