A lot of nice engines there,
I had to take a second look at the price of the amanco.
Hope you follow in your Grandfaters footsteps.

HI Steve
the pictures are lovely, really nice collection.
i too very nearly joined the RAF, my friend was a corporal in 25(F) squadron on the mech techy side of stuff lol, and when i lost my job at ici, he suggested potentially applying for an officers position (something like flight lieutenant or of that level), but things changed, and i changed my mind, and took the graduates post at Corus instead (what a career move that was!). still have a lot of affectionfor the RAF, but my chance has passed, theres a lot more i can do with my life now then there was 2 years ago.

Hi Steve,
Ive never even heard of RAF corsham,
I was in the RAF for 15 year, i came out in 2000 i PVR,d, i was sick of being treated like a 2 year old,
I was a MT Tech and was stationed at Leuchars, Newton, Lossiemouth, Honington and a whole load of detatchments around the world, I was attatched to the RAF Reg for 9 1/2 year of that mainly Rapier Sqns.
Ive still got a few good mates who keep in touch (mainly gunners) and we are all out.
A lot will have changed since i was in i suppose.

Steve,
I know exactly where it is now.
The fittnes test was only once a year when i was in, but i had to do that once a year, BFT twice a year and a CFT twice a year.
The good days
