Hi all. I have just purchased a Villiers engine attached to an Aldon pump.
The serial number is 234979
The 'mark' box has a date preceded by the letter C. (C12.04.41)
I dont seem to be able to add an image to my post. Any ideas?

Hi Clive,

I believe you have a Villiers Mark C12 - not sure about the other numbers but I'm sure someone will know.
As regards posting pictures have a look a the end of this thread regarding using Photobucket - works for me.

PS We have a manual if you need one.

I'm assuming so. I just bought it from someone who bought it as a renovation project which never got started. The engine turns over with good compression but there is no spark so I haven't had it running yet.

Villiers C12 (120cc).

The C12 was introduced in 1974 and remained in production until the end.

The C12 was the last incarnation of the trusty old Mk12 engine first produced during WW2.
