0-80volt alco lightweight and a" TINY TIM " usa tank charging generator sets dated 1944
here i go again ,got me a bargain and when studied back at home its a ww11 set
light weight compaired to a petter a1 ,just about
it goes from 0 volts to 80 volts
and from 0 to 45 amps
has a brass wiring diagram in lid of electrics box
been and had the pulley off and beerings out and give all the brushes a good clean and also the wiring inside motor has been removed cleaned up and
stuck back together again ,just still doing the electrics box
removed the clocks stripped out and cleaned got working again and slapped back onto bakerlite bourd
g&m electrics fuse box also has had a wipe over and contacts breakers ect cleaned and shinned up
coil cleaned and got back reading ohms from top the bottom
will post the pics tomorrow as to tyered to do it know

Nice one. Looking forward to pictures, particularly interested in the Alco 'Lightweight' or Featherweight' engine.

heres the pics sorry for the slow delivery but anyway here goes
generator id plate
geny in a lovely slapped on dulux bright green shade this will have to go as just to modern looking for age and lack of love in the finish too
switch gear box all present and correct and testing ok on my meter
gauges are full of dirt and glass loose and diffecult to read so top repaired and bottom to be done next
after removal and a clean up and repairs were needed starting to look the job again
wiring diagram
original colour is looking to be bronze green in colour ,so will be doing it back that colour as rust is just started under the red oxide and grey base coats
so as its tin and 77yrs old best save it before it goes all biblical "holey"
