Re: IHC type LB brought home.
Nice engines Chris,
I take it the other is a 3 hp?
Are the IHC's like ours scarce over there? The Listers sure are over here!
Thanks for showing the pics, John.

Re: IHC type LB brought home.
Well,
I'll be home around friday I suppose, and then I get to pick up my generator and try to make it
match the IHC LB.
I think the LB will probably be the better choice than the "D" for it as the generator looks closer to its age.
I'll have to think up a way to set up the generator tapered shaft so a flat belt pulley can be mounted up to it.
I'm sure that it would look good and more appropriate to the way the LB is configured.
Anyway.., I've been fairly busy out here (working my butt off to support the habit!) and thus not up to being online too much.
Should probably be back to normal by the week end.
Regards all, John.

Re: IHC type LB brought home.
Thanks for the kind offer John but I'm in no hurry.
The way you discribe the genny it sounds as if it might be better with the D but it's all down to what pulley you can get for it.
Sorry to hear your having to do some extra work to pay the bills but when needs must, don't over do things your not getting any younger
Have a safe trip and see you next weekend.
Stu.

No problem Stu,
Just cruising the net and looking for parts, and I got to think on your comment about the bits.
Found some interesting things, but people seem to think that their bits are made of gold :stick lol:
Ref the genny, I may decide either way, it's to far ahead to worry over.
Regards, John.
