Cracking engine Lewis, I think I'd paint it so as to cover up where the paint has been burnt off, at the end of the day it's what look you want. I know I've said this in the past I think an engine that's painted up bring more of a crowd to them and people can see that work has been carried out on it, but that's my opinion.

yes its been frosted on both sides but has been really well repaired. was originally destined for argentina but didnt make the shipment. so stayed in the country but dont no where it went. the mains have no movement also there is no end float so i dont think it has had that much of a hard life. but was definatly unloved one night and cracked rather badly.

very heavy lump but a beautiful engine. waited nearly 8 months for one.
