It is good to see a lot more diesels getting restored. At one time they were frowned upon and suppose they always will be by some.

Re: this time its a diesel.
i agree billy, its a dim view by those who dont like diesels, as they were as important to stationary engine development as the petrol was.
cheers.

Re: this time its a diesel.
Hi there,
Looking great! I have a PAZ1 as well, it's quite badly worn
so I think I'll have to replace some internal parts. How's yours?
regards,
Niek.

Re: this time its a diesel.
Looking good. I hope you are running the engine on red diesel. Nothing like a free crankup and no silly mags to worry about. Well done.

Re: this time its a diesel.
They are nice engines, I have one dating from 1954 and it runs a treat (though my rallying mates say that it aint a "proper engine") what do they know eh?

Re: this time its a diesel.
We sure like our diesels but I've also got 3 Bernard petrol engines, I'll post some pictures of them
soon. I think I'm going to respray it as I need to take it apart anyway. It doesn't run very well and
judging by the smoke it produces I guess the pistonrings are worn quite badly.
cheers

By the way, I think I'll use it for show purposes, but maybe I'll use it to power my
"stork" waterpump. (Dutch brand)

Re: this time its a diesel.
Well it's not exactly a bit of smoke, the engine doesn't run very smoothly also.
