Deutz mah 711 belt driving query
I have a deutz mah 711 diesel stationary engine. I have found out it was made in 1938. It has twin flywheels....both machined with a v belt groove in the flywheel rim ...and no other driving pulley. Its speed is 1500rpm. I was wondering what sort of equipment it may have powered? All my other engines have "normal " smaller driving pulleys than the flywheel.....and if this engine powered a smaller pulley it would be in excess of 1500rpm?

Interesting. None of the pictures I have show grooved flywheels.
Maybe a 'roll-your-own' ?

The flywheels do look like mah711 ones and the v groove obviously professionally done by the looks of it...maybe at deutz works? I have seen one like it on a video on the net by a German owner....but haven't seen many like it.
