Novices and a Petter AII

Hi, I’m Stuart and I live in south west Scotland. My time is usually spent messing around with vintage Tilley lamps, but my son has recently acquired a Petter AII and as we are both new to the world of stationary engines I was hoping you good folks could help with an approximate date of manufacture and what would be the correct manual to look for. Many thanks.

Edit* I just tried to register on the InternalFire website but you are no longer able to register and there is a statement saying that due to a lack of support the database will close in July

I also have tried to access IF website, but even though I can actually sign in I can't get to the Petter dating records. Sorry to mislead you.

No problem. It does seem a shame that a resource like that could be lost though.

Nothing lasts forever on the internet, either it changes or sometimes even disappears (eg the old Fozzers forum).
