Removing this Aluminium Finned Flywheel
I'm in the process of trying to remove the magneto from a Sturmey Archer engine which involves removing the cooling shroud. This shroud has a couple of fixing bolts behind the finned flywheel.
1: Finned flywheel
2: Plate with starting dog
3: End of crankshaft
4: I think this is a nut that is threaded onto the crankshaft
If 4 is a threaded nut what is the name of the tool used to remove it? and will the thread be right or left handed?

The tool is called a C spanner, or a hook wrench.
