Jap 2a removing points cam Empty Jap 2a removing points cam

The strip down of my JAP 2a continues!
The flywheel and magneto are now removed and now I face removing the plate behind.
How do I remove the cam that operates the points? A bit of research has told me that it is held on by a square key in the shaft keyway. I can't quite figure out how to get this key out.
