Something stopping rotation Empty Something stopping rotation

Hi all!

A small look at my petter AVA1 and I have found that something is stopping the flywheel dead. If I rotate it from stop to stop its 1 1/2 turns of the flywheel. I don't think it's hitting valves as I'm sure it's when both are closed. Seems a bit to definite a stop to be compression, and I tried with the decomp lever opening the valve and it still done it. Any other ideas?

if it's more than one turn it sounds valve train related, take the rocker cover off and watch the valves as you turn it.

I'm sure opening the top I could see both valves closed when it locked. As to the pump, the handle you lift (or lower) to start the engine on the side of the pump is free moving. The lever on the other side of the pump which attaches to what looks like a bolt however is bent and so does not move. Going to try getting that one off and straighten it. Is there any special tools or seals needed to open the pump up and free it?

Just because the stop lever lifts does not mean the pump works, I still say pump is seized, and saying the rack is bent doesn't fill me with much hope.
