Tarpen generating set
Going to try to have a bit of a clear out in the garage.
Tarpen type 40 generating set. 98cc 2-stroke, 110V DC 400W.
I stripped this down when I got it, cleaned it up, decoked the engine and got it running. However, I've never been able to sort out the electromagnetic governor, I did rig up a throttle return spring so I could use the throttle stop screw to set the revs/output. It has a display board as shown, I have the 110V bulbs for it.
Will need to be collected from Glenfield, Leicester LE3.
Asking £75 ono.

Re: Tarpen generating set
Cheap enough! I've quite fancied one but tend to only want it to stop someone from robbing the dynamo for something else.
