Second Purchase
2nd purchase, 2 stroke Tarpen 110 volt generator
I still have an old Lister D and a Briggs and Stratton (the b &S is still in back of car) the Lister is in garage awaiting a trolley or base as it came on an old tree stump that was cut at an angle !!

Re: Second Purchase
Nice looking genny, have you anything to make a display with it, lights, cutter? Maybe worth having a word with Matt (Nutsgone) he knows a bit about these and could point you in the right direction. As for the trolley for the Lister D are you going to make an original type trolley (see below) or just a normal 4 wheel trolley for easy moving. If you go with the original give me a shout as I have the measurements to make one. The expensive part is buying cast iron wheels, or you could just buy some cheap nylon ones for now to get it moving if you go for a 4 wheeled trolley.

Tarpen
Hi Stu, in answer to the Tarpen, yes I have just tried a home made lighting board with 4 bulbs on and they light up great. I hope to
Make a more professional job later, but I would be interested in any suggestions of any other items that could run off the genny.
Re the Lister D trolley, I would like to make a proper Trolley when the time comes (after hospital) complete with cast wheels. I have had a look at the items you have linked for me, they look good but the timing is wrong just now, however may I contact you later for the measurements for the trolley?
I am having a problem with the water pump on the JAP but will ask in another forum
Regards, George
