Basic governor settings Lister D
Basic governor settings on Lister D.
Can I ask what the throttle arm position should be held at by the vertical rod from the governor linkage when the engine is stopped. I do not know how much movement the governor push rod moves in and out when the engine is running. Ta

Hi, the throttle should be at fully open (arm up) when engine is stopped. The governor push rod moves in and out depending on load while engine is running. Engine tick over speed is regulated by adjusting the tension on the spring on the throttle hook!
Hope this helps!
