Hello from the Sunny South
hi everyone
just got a Lister DH with pump and belt, i think i,m missing a pulley for the Lister, looking forward to trawling the site for info on it, i usually exhibit motorbikes at a variety of shows in the south,
always had a hankering for a stationary engine, after spending hours watching them fart, pop and bang out smoke at shows, this one came along and was to good to miss out on, i'm not a complete novice having built old and new bikes but have no experience of stationary engines, something i'm gonna remedy tomorrow morning,
anyway that's for a different thread
hello to everyone

Welcome,
Yes, fart, pop and bang section, is what some of the 'big kettle' boys, used to call the stationary engines at our local show.

Hi Steve and a warm welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing some pictures in New Projects/Restorations when you get going.
As for botty burps - we had friends round yesterday. Toddler comes out onto the patio and there is a distinct whiff in the air! Mums asks "Does your nappy need changing?" Toddler replies "No - I just trumped"
