Is there an off the shelf conversion for a Lister D to run on Propane ( Calor gas bottles ) ?

There was a kit manufactured and mainly sold to Europe, they are like hens teeth but people have tried to make there own versions over the years.

Easy enough to do, take float bowl off, fill in the hole above where the jet is, make sure you don't block the jet, fit a gas fitting, demand regulator and a regulator and away you go. Get it wrong and you won't do it again, I assume you have at least 75% common sense.....

If it wasn't so cold and wet I would go look for the one Blue Cat gave me a couple of years ago, I tend to put stuff away safely and forget where it is.

There is a proper Lister D carburettor for running on gas, but they are not easy to find.
