Lister H1 gland packing
I have a Lister H1 pump that I am restoring. I've taken the old packing out and will be replacing them with new. Can someone please tell what's the best packing to use.

You can get new packing from the internal fire website shop I think.

Just for the benefit of future readers...
Having just completed one I can say it needs 8mm and will take just 2 coils each end.
I bought on eBay described as
" GRAPHITED GLAND PACKING / ROPE SEAL - ROTARY & RECIPROCATING PUMPS, PROP SHAFTS"
