That's a lump of a generator, is it operating as it should?

@ Chris
Well since you asked It was locking slightly at tdc but I think it was the rust on the liner that was causing it, Then I noticed one of the push rods was bent with a rainbow arc in it, (Came loose in transport I think) So I straighten it in a vice,
Its been sitting for a good number of years as inside of the exhaust manifold has no black carbon in it just brown surface rust and engine oil smells like old petroleum, And its got 1962 stamped on side of the dynamo.

I have just recently welded a silencer in my exhaust of my CS, it has made a big difference to the noise level, just a thought when your going to be at it anyway.

True but I've seen a lot of different threads over the years and gotten them wrong, Better to ask stationary engine enthusiasts :PWoodsman wrote:Loads of thread tables on t'interweb

Re: Lister HA2 Generator in Angus :D
How its looking so far,
Having huge problems starting it as injectors are beyond repair (Am after a set in the wanted section)
^
That's what I pulled out the heads,
Both fuel pumps have been repaired and put back together as both racks were stuck,
I bought LR injectors and removed the short nozzles for my longer ones and it never cured the issue, I have no diesel getting to the engine, I am wondering tho if am getting enough compression so I might just strip the heads and buy new head gaskets for it.
