Körting stationary diesel engine
Hi, i'm new here, i hope is the right forum to get more informations about my Körting diesel engine, fitted in a Smoschewer roller. I want to restore the roller, starting from the engine. The old owner left it outside on the rain since 1970's, with the inlet valve in open position. I buy an endoscope to check the amount of damage of tha water im the cylinder. I want to know it there is someone here with some informations like manuals, torque tightenings, videos ect. Ask me if you need more photos.
Thank you
I apologize for my bad english

Hello and welcome to the forum, the roller looks like a very interesting project. Hopefully someone will have the information you need, it may be an idea to contact 'Stationary Engine' magazine as it has an international readership. I can PM you the editor's email address if you require.

Hi... Yes, thank you so much... I try to contact the editor, to do if is possible something like an advertising. Now the engine is covered, with every shaft, bearings, screws covered with liters of WD40... The next step is to check the cylinder with a two meters long endoscope from the fuel injector hole. Then i want to try to remove water and dirt from there, and fill the combustion chamber with diesel fuel mixed with WD40. I think that's the best way to start to unlock some parts before unmounting the engine

You may have better results filling the cylinder with Plusgas if it's available in your country or or mix you own using a 50/50 mix of ATF (auto transmission fluid) and Acetone.

Try Meindert Koning who I believe may have some experience with Korting engines. meindert82@hotmail.com
A Letter to Editor in the columns of Stationary Engine will also help as suggested.
Plus Gas, diesel oil, or WD40 will also help, given time and a little patience. Good luck.

Hi and a very warm welcome to the forum. Please take a minute to edit your profile and add preferred name to your signature.
I guess your engine is stationary at the moment so that is fine
PS - your english needs no apologies.
