Please help date my new lister d
Hello
I have recently been given a lister d after a family member past away. I am only 20 so know very little about this lovely machines. The numbers I have found on the plate are as follows;
Rpm700
142734
Spec 23dh
Also looking through these forums I have noticed that they are nearly all green but mine is blue ? I think it is the original paint work but would love to know more.
I am plaining to do this up and take it to shows but as I have said I know next to nothing about these so would love more information . Kind regards jake

Re: Please help date my new lister d
Hi Jake,
The person you want to contact is David Edgington - his details are given in the Stationary Engine Magazine ( well worth a read) Helpline.In case you haven't got a copy to hand his address is :- Lodge Wood Farm, Hawkeridge, Westbury, Wiltshire, BA13 4LA - He has the factory details and should be able to date your engine and let you know who bought it.David is a very nice,knowledgable, approachable guy.Dont forget to enclose a SAE when writting to him!
As a rough guess I'd say your engine dates to 1938.
All the best,
Kev.
