Mk20 runs ok, no cowls which is a pity, fins damaged on flywheel and has had a hard life

I have a Villiers V engine here which I believe is the early version of the Mk20. It is incomplete, but does have all the cowlings (small repair at base) and a flywheel with all the fins. Only problem is I'm no where near Wiltshire.

Finally got cowling and tank painted and fitted, took so long to get them finished that the original paint used on block had gone off,
but hey good to be different.   Very Happy

Top job there Squire - a new lease of life for the old girl! (not sure if engines are 'girls' or not - probably starting a whole new topic here.....)

Best

Thanks for comments, are engines girls I have always referred engines as a she, unless they are being a pain
then I have a few choice words to call them Smile

Definitely 'she' - needy,  temperamental, expensive and in constant need of attention.  Good job "her in doors" doesn't have a log on. Very Happy
