Lister Sheep Shearer
I got given this earlier, I assume it is a lister, the flexi drives and shears have Lister on them, but there is no ID on the actual machine.
it looks rather nice now it has a clean up and it all works OK, I am thinking of putting it on a trolley with my Shafty D type, the little pulley is about 3'' diameter, and I don't know whether to run off the flywheel rim, it might be a bit fast, but I don't know what speed this shearing stuff is meant to run at, what does everyone think, it may get used for shearing my stepdads sheep at some point so it needs to be about right
I think the clippers are missing a sort of retaining collar to stop it falling off the flexi drive , but Im just thinking how to make one, does anyone know what the thread is on the clipper where it joins onto the flexi drive?
I think it would look good with my rusty old D!

Yeah I don't want to have to have the shearer all stuck right out of the side of the trolley, I might try it on the flywheel, it turns out its a Wolseley machine, but the paint of this and my WD2 don't match as well as the Lister does!

Yep, the trolley is fairly long so should be enough room for it, have ordered a V belt for it already
