Re: Lister H2 Pump Restoration
i only have 1 x double socket for 2 sheds but 1 plug goes to a gang lead with 6 sockets on in brick shed and the other goes into wooden shed through conduit and goes to a junction box when 2 double sockets ....The lights are on a 13A plug but have a light switch on the lead before the light fitment .
End of day its all extension leads and all fused either 13a or 5a for lights .
Only done this due to having no spare way in consumer unit to run a cable to shed to fit a 2 way consumer unit , and the double socket to shed is a spur .

i just imagine someone taring across the lead when in the garage in there carFoden wrote:That's what I do Jules, my PB crankcase will be making an appearance in the kitchen soon! Most of the small parts were painted last winter and are hardening off in the loft. I do run a lead across to the shed for using the bench grinder etc but there is no lighting in it, and my garage is the other side of the road so again it means running a lead across. We manage though, what you haven't had you don't miss.A Lister wrote:I know, it's a hard life up north isn't it. At least with small bits like that I can bring them inside to let them harden off.Foden wrote:That looks good Jules! Like me you have no elektrikery either, it does make life harder at times but we get by with eating lots of carrots and wrapping up well. The paint should be dry by next years Astle Park rally haha.

Re: Lister H2 Pump Restoration
Looking back at this thread I never posted photos of the finished job, so thought I'd better put that right! First off, the pump on its newly made trolley awaiting the fitting of the safety valve and outlet pipework.
Finally, the finished pump on display at a local show being driven by my 1940 Lister A28s.
