The idler gear stud sheared off when I undid it, it looked as though it had been fractured for some time and the head had had impact damage. I machined a new one.

Hi Matt
Hope so. Quite a bit to do yet regarding cooling. Its got its original 45 gallon tank, but it will take me for ever to fill it at Rallies! Thinking of putting a smaller one inside it so it still looks original.

Post by matt86 Sat Nov 02 2013, 20:18

ahhh i see what you mean .... or make a plate halfway up tank and weld / seal up and on underside cut bottom out and make so angle brackets to attach to the timber with a frame under for support of the water in tank and if pipe not in right place . You could from inside under side of tank make pipe to go into tank from the new bottom ...

get my drift ?

Yes. The problem is that once the tank is on the box and the thing is on the trailer its quite high, wouldn't go in the garage which would mean unloading it.
