Hi Guys,

Have just made a discovery in my dads shed.

I found a Villers Mark 7 petrol with a messed up coil and some parts missing.

It came off a lawnmower and some parts have been nicked.

Im 14 and i dont have a clue what im doing. Does anybody know anything else about these engines and how to go about restoring them and finding parts for them because I don't know.

Any Help?.
Cheers

Your not the only one on this site and some of those are in there 20's/30's don't have clue Very Happy :stick lol: lol! :stick lol: lol! lol! :stick lol:

Luke this could be a great opertunaty for you to lean. Basically your Villiers is scrap so if it doesn't work again nothing lost. I'll look (and if others could check) to see if I have a manual for a Mk7. Then you can just come on as you need to and ask rather then someone writing step by step instruction for what you should do.

Stu.

Cheers Stu,

It wont run and at the moment it is in a plastic box lol!

I will try and find it, It hasnt run for bout 21 years.

Shame really as it would be lovely next to my Lister D Very Happy

Thanks for help and yes, Over the winter i have been trying to get my D going but failing at it. £140 on a new coil(now a Wico A) and spark plugs and tanks and stuff and it costs. In the summer i might buy another engine so to have a pair

Cheers
