PETTER AD2 STARTER GEAR RING Empty PETTER AD2 STARTER GEAR RING

I have a Petter AD2 which I have fitted into my Dnepr motorcycle. Can anyone help me to find a suitable starter gear ring for this engine, please? The original has lost its teeth and new ones are really expensive. Has anyone fitted an automotive ring to a petter engine? I am sure some would be the correct size and mine is anti clockwise rotation, as per auto. I have looked a several on ebay, all of which are much cheaper than the petter part, but I have not yet taken my flywheel off to check the dimensions. I wondered if someone has already tried this and would know which model of car the ring they used was meant to fit.
