yeah the engine
bulk i believe is the same casting as a WD, but the WLB1 has a very thick white metal shaft, theres a few other small differances aswell
Re: Wolsley WLB1
HI Ryan i see your head (i.e. the part with the spark plug hole in it) has studs to mount the hopper, wouldnt the hopper be mounted to the head with the head bolts? I ask this as my head does not have studs in it? confused as per usual.

love it or hate it ??????????????????????????????????
ignore all the red oxide around the case covers, that will all be removed to form perfect gaskets
this is the first coat
im using international japlec recommended buy hope and crank, its expensive costing £27.99 per litre, but i gotta say, its the best i have used, its nearly hard withing 6 hours, its amazing no runs, i was keeping the colours quite, but its going to be black with gold rims on the flywheels and name plate letters are also gold , im going to try and get a large wolseley gold transfer made up for the hopper
Re: Wolsley WLB1

are you on about the full stops on the name plate, if so put your glasses on cause there on there
The engine has now gone to a new owner
it now belongs to a really nice couple, they are wolseley collectors, they have one of every model apart from a WLB9 , im glad its become part of a collection and who nos if you live around Burton-on-trent you may one day see it at a rally
