Re: Wolsley WLB1
Great find, the south west must be the best place in the UK to live for engines! There's always some great, unusual finds and always some good stuff on ebay from there Yes I'm jealous, as we find nothing in this area as the main industry was coal mining and the only things used were shovels, picks and pit ponies (only one still alive and in a museum now). Good luck with it and don't forget the pics.

Great looking engine mate and the pump goes well with it, bet you had a smile from ear to ear when you finally picked it up. Can't wait to see it all finished.

Re: Wolsley WLB1
lovely engine ryan, looks so much more aesthetically balanced than a normal wd, if you ever want to sell it, theres a welcome home up here in the norths fastest growing engine collection/museum

dont think ill be selling it for a while yet mate
as i took so long to get it, and as it was sold in cornwall from new, really want to keep it in the county
well nearly all parts stripped
one flywheel, which i am struggling to remove, its moved 10mm in day and half, so time consuming, sometimes i wonder why we take on such big projects, lol all fun though
Re: Wolsley WLB1
Get yourself some stacking bread crates to put all your bits in
Buy the look off it you need to build yourself a bench

i got a bench
just very limited to room, untill this bloke who bought my trailer comes to get it, on a good note, all nuts and bolts are labeled and bagged, yellow for pump, blue for engine. No pink in site
valves have now been re grounded
and went out and bought 2.5ltrs of nitro morus today, that stuff is great, paint is coming off easy so progress is being made, doing engine first and pump after, i have changed my mind on colour , but keeping it to myself till its done, lets say its differant, BUT not pink

Looking good my friend!!!
Although whats happening with the flywheel situation?
Can you heat around the crankcrank on the flywheel and try to pull it off
