hello all... just got my son a 1950 lister d. i know what some of the spec letters stood for but not sure on this one .. its a 28dt, the engine number is 1/47140 and i think that makes it around april 1950. so if anyone can help with what the 28dt stood for that would be great or correct me on my dating if i got it wrong.
cheers.

A DT spec is a tank cooled engine, does it have a hopper cover with a pipe connection ?

Probably around 1950.

DWE will be able to confirm sale date and to whom it was supplied. DWE's latest Lister D book is HIGHLY recommended, it explains most of the spec numbers and variations in detail.

Cheers
