I found this engine stuck away at the back of my barn. Its been there for 30 years at least.
Does anyone know what model it is?
Has Norton Villers on the starter.

Thanks

Cheers

what you called the starter is a wico/wipac magneto
what are the numbers on that plaque you were talking about mate
as if its a later engine it may be a jap 4/3 -5 demarked and sold as villiers
they were somtimes E30 -e40 numbers the likes of.
i have a villiers E30 that was once made by jap, model 4/3
theere maybe a stamp mark in the cowling AJH 19** like this one on most bsa/ villiers/jap/norton
