Lister A Rotation Empty Lister A Rotation

Hi all, Does any one know which way a Lister A should rotate, I have just purchased three and two have clockwise Mags but if I check the valve operation it looks as if the Engine should run with a anticlockwise Mag. Needles to say none of them run at the moment. confused

mine was fitted with a anti clockwise mag, sorry didnt reply earlier didnt notice the thread

Hello, it depends on what the engine was fitted too.
When ordered from Listers they would have stated what rotation they needed.
little tip when trying to determin what rotation your engine is, turn fly wheels and rember it as to INLET first then come up to top dead centre and fire. Smile Smile
