Iv tried it with out twist and works im lau other half by the way . Im looking for a longer one to to put the twist in it. Im not sure about the fan think the flywheels just came with v pully on it iv never seen a shearer with a fan

It's defo a rad cooled flywheel on there so at some point it has had a flywheel change or maybe someone swapped the crankshaft, mains and casting for one of rad cooled D.

well we used to go with our parents until they sold the engines Sad and we only just got our pump 2 years ago run it at south cerney last year and the shearer wasnt ready...the pump has now been sold but im trying to persuade the other half to do other project Smile i have a good idea for my next lister Smile just got to persuade him Smile Watch this space lol we will be there from thursday afternoon
