Re: Acme ENGINE
Hi Trev,
Acme engines came from 3 parts of the USA, we could do with some more details of what engine you have.

Re: Acme ENGINE
HI TREV..
there seems to be some cracking engines in your country,as well as the states.
were ever did you find that one,we seem to have the normal run of the mill engines over here.
there are some unusual engines doted about here, but every time i look at rallys in australia and the states theres such a vast amount of engines that we dont see over here.
i know CHRIS (jonesy)was thinking of moving over to the states, but i dont know if hes still going to go or not.
would love to spend some time over in australia, have a rummage about and go to some shows just to see how its done over in your neck of the woods.
glad you've sorted it now and, good luck with it Trev.
regards.mike.

Re: Acme ENGINE
yes your right there Paul..
its far to big for me...
wish my health was a lot better than it is..
since ive down sized ive been offered loads of engines,to big for me though
so jonesey and i have now decided to buy them,as he has a fella that want as many as he can get...
so its not a bad way of making money,we are lucky enough to have a mate of Chris's who can collect them for us
only thing is its a while till we can sell them as the fella wants container loads at a time.
i guess i mite get told off for telling you ..opsssssssss
regards.mike.

Re: Acme ENGINE
Might be worth investing in John Ellis's book on Scottish engines
When I 1st read Acme engine I thought about the American engine:
There is also a picture of the american engine on page 34 of June 2011 SEM pic 11.
I would try and find a copy of the above book for info on the Scottish engine.
Cheers Steve
