Nice, I would like a Early lister D at some point, Low tank one would be the one I would look for, but I do like the spoked flywheel one.

hi....sorry don't know your surname...
thats a great line up of LISTER D's....
Ive just bought my son a LISTER DK.....
its not done any work in its life....it was a stand bye in a milking parlor....
he cant wait for the new rally season to start....
going to make a nice trolly for it....
the LISTERS you have in the photos,did you make the trolleys for them,or did you bye them already on the trolleys....
was going to ask if you made them,did you make the handles or bye the handles already made...
can you let me know,as i was going to have a go at making some my self.....

hi, i brought them on trolleys, the two on the wheel barrow type trolleys are the original trolleys for the d type. cheers...ivan.

Not really being a lister D person, is each one a diffrent spec?

The first two are spec 10, the spoke flywheel one is spec 12 and the other two are spec 11. cheers...ivan.

Thanks for that, I now know what to look out for! is the spoke flywheel what they call a bruston flywheel?

hi, yes it is what is called the bruston flywheel but it is slightly different (narrower). here is a pic of the lister on its new trolley i made for it today, (my first attempt at trolley making). cheers... ivan.

my mates just got one the same as the last picture....
though it was his...till i remembered that his hasn't got a trolly....
mind you its no where as good as yours....will be in a few months though...
he want me to strip it and rebuild and paint it for him....
hes seen the pumps Ive just finished,and was well impressed with the finish....
looking forward to getting in to it...haven't done a d for a while....
will keep you posted on the progress....

What a wonderful engine the D is. Imagine the collection of engines the D would bring alone, if you had one of every type.
I have played with engines for a while and had a few, but I have never not had a D in my shed.
At the moment it is a 1933 shaftie I bought off the club stall at the very last Tatton Park.
Spec 10s are a rare and seldom seen bird. You have a nice collection of Ds, thanks for sharing.
