Norman S/C
well why i wait do decide what to do woth the stuart, i decided to look over the Norman
started getting it apart and removing the old paint, been a while since it was last gone over.

Raf Blue it is then, well RAF Blue Grey to be correct BS633
should end up this colour, but satin

Broke out the paint
decided to try the new paint, this is only the 1st coat to top coat so will need a rub down and another few coats, its had 3 coats of primer/undercoat.
i like the new colour! this paints much nicer to paint then the stuart green i have.

Getting
well, little bit stuck on a few bits but the grey matter is getting there,
I shall be giving it another rub down and a few more coats, and cleaing up the bright work.
will see if i still got some white modeling paint for the lettering.

Its only loosely assembled there for the photo, need to regrind the valves and all 1st, need to remember how the throttle/governor control went!
did have a show planed for the weekend but might give it a miss and spend time with the wife!

Well she's running again
had to put the old pulley on to start it, so looking a bit out of place, but she running!! need to work out the trottle control as that still aint right!
got a bit of paint to touch up etc, and a noticed i had a bit of a oil leak when taking this pic!

I didnt think a Armed Forces engine should be Gloss so went for Satin, glad people like it! it was a risky choice

Whats silencer do people think will go with this? would a WD type one look right?
the diameter is approx 28mm isd and 32mm osd

Try Bell Silencers in Swindon or Any Motor Factors. There used to be a great little shop in Chippenham on the one way sistem opposit the cinama mixes paint alsorts he might be worth a try

I tried to get flexi pipe not so long ago and it was expensive.
Try your local garage they may have a small bit kiking about that you may get cheap.
