Hello all

Thanks to Nigel (kl80) i picked up this today a nice bamford tulip top.

The engine has run all afternoon and not missed a beat, sounds great.

Heres some pictures of the engine this afternoon

i have a question what oil do i put in the oiler on top and do i use just normal grease in the greaser.

serial number 3785
any other tips you can tell me on running these hit and miss engines

Sae 30 will do the trick and the thicker grease the bettter,

its not that heavy we loaded it into the back of the pick up truck with out a problem and it was fine.

was fine loading it everything

yeah this is fully moveable and is great, really pleased with it. especially once i restore it. hope to find a carburettor for it sometime

its unoriginal as you can see in the pictures and video.

its part of a lister d carb. the middle section only

would like to make it original eventually

fine example, your carb is differant to the one i had, mine had a fuel bowl at the bottom of it, remember if you need a copy of the manual pm me but hope you enjoy the engine Very Happy

this is a home made one. unorignal altogether. what oil did you use in your engine oiler.
what grease did you put in the greasers
