Re: Stuart Turner R3MC "Operation Brasso" :D
t more done today, no pictures sorry (releif for some ).
Decided to do the Nif Naf today as short on time, Polished up the exhaust bit and top water outlet, Dip and half the throttle lever.
so not to much brass left to clean up
just the pump to stip and get sorted, then i will start on the paint.
One bad thing is i think i may have ruined the bearings in my drill owell
going to be away for abit so work will have to wait untill the weekend, gutted
Cheers, Steve

Should get a few parts soon, so maybe able to start to put it back together
One more thing does anyone know the size of the exhaust nut?

This has been a brilliant post as its giving a lot of detail on the restoration on an engine.
Lets hope a lot more of this type of "diary" of restoration is posted here.

Have you tried FWB in Threemilestone, Truro for those dome nuts.
Might be worth a try, they normally carry a wide range of stuff.
Cheers
